Peter E. Iorio is the Chair of the Firm’s Estate Planning & Administration of Estates & Trusts Group. His practice focuses on estate planning, administration of estates and trusts, taxation, beneficiary representation and business succession planning. He works out of FLB’s Allentown and Easton offices.
Mr. Iorio counsels Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York clients to ensure that their estate plans are thoughtfully implemented. He is experienced in the design and execution of estate planning documents including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and other related documents. He develops individualized estate plans, providing counsel regarding minimization of estate/inheritance, gift, generation-skipping, and income taxes, as well as sophisticated gifting techniques.
Mr. Iorio also helps families administer estates and trusts after the death of a loved one. This includes probate matters at the Register of Wills, preparing Inheritance and Estate Tax Returns and assisting Executors/Trustees in making distributions to beneficiaries. He also advises clients on Trust modifications to minimize or eliminate transfer/income taxes.
His clients include self-employed individuals, executives, educators, business owners, families with minor children, retirees and everyone in-between. Originally from New Jersey, Mr. Iorio now lives in Northampton County with his wife, children and dog, Kona.
