Veronica Martinez joined Cox Baker & Page, LLC in 2016. She has been practicing exclusively in the area of domestic relations since being licensed in 2011 and focuses on providing competent and compassionate assistance to individuals navigating the family law system. Veronica practices throughout the Denver metro area in matters related to divorce, parental responsibility, restraining orders, adoption, child support, and post-dissolution modification matters. She also prepares pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, which may help avoid litigation in the event of a divorce. Veronica can also assist with estate planning matters such as preparing wills, living wills, powers of attorney, and related documents. Veronica received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College in 2007, majoring in History and Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2011. While in law school, Veronica participated in internships with entities such as the Denver Public Defender’s Office, the Judge Advocate General’s Office on Buckley Air Force Base and numerous internships in the field of family law. Veronica comes from a family of lawyers and was intent on following in the footsteps of her father and grandfather from a very young age. Being raised in a very small town in Northern New Mexico, she understands the important role legal advocacy plays during trying times and the difficulty many face in obtaining assistance. Veronica strives to provide legal access to every member of the community and provides services to all of Denver Metro area, including but not limited to Denver, Jefferson, Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert and El Paso Counties. Veronica is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Arapahoe County Bar Association, Family Law Section and is the current Vice-Presdient for the Douglas/Elbert County Bar Association.
