First of all I'd like to say that always driving through Utah to be careful &there are always hidden speed traps and unmarked police everywhere & I've known this for the past 30 years driving to and from Colorado to California & back & either way always watch your speed that will open lots of doors that you wished never occurred, so either way when you're looking for a straight-up honest man probably the best attorney in Cedar City definitely the best attorney I've ever had and come across is Jeff Slack & he is very honest & up front & told me exactly like it is. He never promised anything he couldn't keep & that is something I always stand by in my business, which is to promise less & always try to deliver more! Jeff did exactly that & I was very nervous trying to find someone to help me & finding the right person is always something you'd frustrate yourself the most with & in the end you don't know what to expect, or who your going to get??? He was the best & won for me!

I had Jeff represent me in my divorce. He did a great job and it was cheaper than I thought it would be. I am now trying to get him to represent my son. I hope it all works out.

paid $2000 retainer fee. He went to court, judge wouldn't sign property claim for me. Waited several months, judge signed finally, but property claim didn't have the legal address of property (Fault of Slack's office) and the property still in not rightfully mine because of the error.

If providing a 0 was an option for rating Mr. Slack would be in the negatives. He does not communicate or act in the best interests of those whom he represents. He will not speak with you or others who might assist in your defense. Mr. Slackass did nothing to work with the prosecution for a plea deal that I could not have done myself, in fact, I believe I could have negotiated a better deal pro se. It is unfortunate that the State continues his contract as a Public Defender. Hopefully others don't feel the slack in efforts and receive as punitive actions as I have as a result of his poor work.

Wasn't much help. Staff is VERY unprofessional. Wouldn't return phone calls.. all together i feel like i wasted my money. Slack = Slacker for sure!!! He didn't let me know my license would be suspended after my case was closed. He just wasn't very much help. I recommend you go somewhere else, i've had better experiences with attorneys in the past.
