John has handled everything we needed for years and always come through for us. One of the only attorneys I’ve ever had who really listened and acted on what was said. As one of a small handful that can represent clients in federal court as well as state, he is the only attorney I’d recommend to those I care about.

My husband was accused of a heinous crime! For three years John told us not to worry and to keep living life. Less than a week before trial we had two appointments to 'prep' for trial. It was small talk... no 'preparation'. He had not deposed witnesses, did not prepare a defense of any kind, and did not prepare us for three days of trial. In the courtroom he did not defend (yes, he objected to a couple things) but did not even attempt to get the jury to see doubt in the case. EVERYTHING we needed was in front of us. He was unfamiliar with the police report or anything else provided to us. Truly, when all is said and done, we feel like some sort of deal was made, my husband was traded off for something else. He allowed the prosecutor to offer up testimony to the jury without objecting. He didn't read or study the material. We paid him for defend us (I say us because it is our life that was destroyed) and now my husband has been convicted of a lie. John didn't offer ANY defense!

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
