Hired Attorney

He handled my mothers estate and with the distance between her estate and my home in Wisconsin it was important to have an attorney that I trusted. His communication with me was outstanding.

Hired Attorney

In a very simple real estate transaction both my husband and I were not pleased. It took 5 months longer than expected. I repeatedly requested for proof of insurance document before closing so our agent (and we) could review it BEFORE closing and never received it despite many requests. Ignored both my husband and myself. I have fired Doug and have been forced to find another attorney to finish this matter. He also is not allowed to defend his own work in court.Be warned.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
