Jim graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in 1994 after receiving his Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University in 1991. Jim is a past president of the Pinal County Bar Association, and has practiced locally and served Pinal County for over 23 years. He is a member of the Arizona Bar Association, Pinal County Bar Association and Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice. In January of 2015, Jim received an award from Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice for his work on a Capital Murder Case that received national and local media attention and involved the disqualification of the Pinal County Attorney's Office from prosecuting his client because of their unethical actions. As an experienced trial attorney, Jim practices in the areas of criminal law, DUI, juvenile law, and family law. In 2006, Jim was appointed as a Pinal County Superior Court Judge Pro Tem. The law firm of Soslowsky Law Firm, plc. offers experienced, aggressive representation in all areas of adult and juvenile criminal law in Casa Grande and Pinal County. This law firm has the reputation throughout Pinal County for handling the most serious and complex criminal defense cases. Jim has acted as lead counsel in several First Degree Murder cases where the State has alleged the death penalty.
