This past April spent about 20 minutes on the phone with Steve discussing my design patent application at the PTO. Steve gave me a clear, understandable explanation on how the PTO evaluates applications for complex designs. He said that his firm was willing to assist. He quoted me his fee. He gave me his estimate of the probability of the PTO approving our appeal to them to reverse their decision to decline the original submission. Steve discussed the rationale for his opinion.
