Kathleen Valletta represented me on a divorce. She aggressively worked my case and kept me up to date as the settlement negotiations progressed. Her hourly rate was consistent with the prevailing rates of the Putnam County, NY area.
I would not recommend Mrs. Valleta's services to anyone. In my opinion she only represents her own interest. My interactions with her were limited even thought I was paying her almost $500 an hour. During court days she would spend her time talking to everyone she knew in the waiting area. and no time preparing with me. Every time I asked her a question she would tell me to schedule a consultation at her office so she can charge more. she was never prepared,
Very angry and unprofessional, unethical. I will be reporting her to the bar association.
