About Matthew P. Irwin

Mr. Irwin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and his Juris Doctor from Widener School of Law. Mr. Irwin is Board Certified in Marital and Family Law; a recognition only 7% of all eligible attorneys in the state of Florida achieve.

Matt's memberships include the Florida Bar Association, Florida Bar Association Family Law Section, Lee County Bar Association, Lee County Bar Family Law Section, Lee County Bar Appellate Law Section, as well as the Association of Family Law Professionals.

Prior to becoming managing partner of Men's Rights Law Firm, Mr. Irwin worked as a counselor for men who were incarcerated in the Delaware County Prison system in Pennsylvania.

Matthew Irwin is passionate about Men's Rights, aggressively representing the interests of husbands and fathers involved in divorce and other family law matters.

He empathizes and understands what men go through, and that your case is one of the most important events in your life. Often, divorce settlements leave men feeling like they are “intruders’, “visitors” and/or “part-time” parents when, in fact, Mr. Irwin believes they are an integral part of the lives, as well as the developmental stages, of their children.
