James K. Luttrell

Mr. Luttrell doesn't care anything about his client. He puts zero effort into defending his client and has absolutely no communication with client. He gets paid regardless win or lose, as a court appointed Attorney so essentially he works for the prosecution. They are on the same team. I challenge you to find even 1 client who is satisfied with Mr Luttrells representation. I seriously doubt he has ever won a case.

If I could give no stars, I would. Mr. Lutrell took my loved one's case, but there was zero effort to make communication with my loved one and he repeatedly lied to me about the "progress" so far and about making communication with my loved one. Mr. Lutrell was trying to work around my loved one and request a court date without his knowledge. Mr. Lutrell is both unethical and unprofessional.

Terrible experience working with Mr. Luttrell. Impossible to get a hold of, had done no research by the time court was held, and gave horrible legal advice I wish I had not listened too. He is sluggish and messy and unable to manage his own life or his legal career.

He promises that he is sure he can do things and gets clients to court on a Thursday thinking they will be getting out only to tell them its not going to happen. Monday comes around he is talking about prison times. He does NOT answer phone calls. You have to call him nonstop to get an answer from him. He favors the DA and does NOT fight for his clients or his clients rights. I would not suggest anyone hire him as their attorney. He honestly should be disbarred and lose his license to practice altogether. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID!

My family and I were treated poorly by James Luttrell. It saddens me that someone could be so heartless. Initially I assumed he was just busy but after doing my research and seeing this review, I now know what is really going on. By the way I too am an African American and was disregarded by Mr. Luttrell. I cannot believe our experience. It is unreal.

This attorney should be barred from practing law. He never returns phone calls to clients, he does not help his clients but favors the opposing party of they are an African American Female. He also does not stand up for his clients like he is hired to do and I was told by multiple other attorneys (peers of his) that he drags his feet and does not deliver. He is very predjudice.
