I paid my lawyer $1,500.00 to handle several family court violations. She appeared in court the once out of the three times that I had to be there, so I basically represented myself. In the end, I would have saved myself alot of money if I had just went in alone, which is what I wound up doing anyways. Even when she did show, the outcome still wasn't fair to me and he got away with violating the court orders AGAIN!
She was a nightmare ...never explain anything ...she said my x paid back taxes which he didn't..almost lost my house ...her secretary and my x secretary had a joke between them about my dogs ...she was not worth the money ...
