Hired Attorney Alina Nikolaeva

We are a Canadian retired couple who sought a legal opinion from Alina Nikolaeva with respect to our potential repatriation back to Canada. The entire process was a waste of time and money and we definitely would not recommend her legal services. We are unable to provide a full review due to website character constraints but it appeared to us during the entire process that Ms. Nikolaeva either does not have a full understanding of basic repatriation tax law or she purposefully indicates she needs to “research” common tax questions to increase her billing. We walked away with no additional information we could have received using Artificial Intelligence and the questions we did not get answered were obtained using another tax lawyer.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
