This lawyer doubled, tripled the stress I was already under after my wrongful dismissal. She was late for everything, she was unreachable, she is completely unorganized, and she only reacts to things and the opposite lawyer. I'm sure if I'd gone with someone else, my case would have been settled out of court. But with this lawyer, this was never an option because she didn't really do anything on the file and was late for every deadline. Stay away.
Sadly, I would not use Corinne Muccilli's services again nor recommend her to anybody. I retained her services in early 2023 with an upfront payment to review my severance package, followed by a retainer to represent my claim. She quickly became very difficult to connect with and makes all the promises of a winning case. She is unorganized, doesn't know what file she's working on, never sent me an agreement of representation, nor did she give me a tax receipt. I contacted her as well as her previous law firm, Gobran Law, for the receipt to no avail. Beware of this lawyer.
Corrine took a hefty deposit payment of almost $3k from a vulnerable single mother with a 5 month old battling her abusive ex partner. Without doing any due diligence to learn about the history between the couple, she recommended to the young woman that she should “forget the past” and “look to the future”. She then proceeded to allow herself to be intimidated by the lawyer of the opposing side, and recommended that the young woman agree to all the unreasonable requests of the opposing party. Corrine did not produce any documentation in writing; no emails, no letters. She simply relayed the opposing sides demands to her client. After two weeks of poor communication when she was terminated from the case, she promised to release the balance of her hefty deposit. By our calculations she barely spent four hours on the case. At the time of this writing, almost three weeks since her termination, she hasn’t responded to repeated requests for action, and has not yet refunded any of the deposi.
