Ms. Loranger speaks regularly on liability, ethics and compliance issues to investment advisors, financial institutions representatives, lawyers and insurers. She has also instructed attorneys on advocacy and evidence techniques at a seminar hosted by the Canadian Bar Association. She coaches various financial advisors on how to manage their business and protect themselves, and teaches branch managers and compliance officers on their duty to supervise.
Ms. Loranger has authored numerous articles published in Finance et Investissement, a newspaper distributed to the brokerage industry in Quebec. She co-wrote a paper on investment advisors' liability for the Canadian Securities Institute's continuing education program, and provides expert advice through articles she authors for lesaffaires.com.
Ms. Loranger obtained her LLB from Universite de Montreal in 1983 and completed the Directors Education Program of the Institute of Corporate Directors in 2008. She was called to the Quebec Bar in 1983. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
