Very stressful dealing with this firm on an employment matter. Issue was dragged out forever with no clear strategy in place. Non responsive to questions. Do not feel like this put a best effort forward. Looks at ways to rack up the bill.
Advocates for what is best for his pocket and not his client. Fails to protect a client’s interest, argues with his client when questioned, divulged information to assist the opposing party to encourage a settlement based on his total legal bill leaving his client to walk away with nothing. Ethically challenged, short tempered and dishonest human being that should not just retired but suspended.
Review of Joanne Stewart and her "family law group". They were beyond reprehensible. Motivated by greed and never 'client centered'. Full of promises until they bleed you dry and then when they are satisfied there are no more revenues to generate, they will move on to their next victim. Truly heartless. Overall a very bad experience on an employment issue. They will soak you up front for issuing a letter to a former employer. After that, they want you to leave when the real work kicks in. Non-responsive, no clear strategy in place, have no clue what is going on or next steps. Do your research before hiring a lawyer. Lerners only wants your easy money. The case will drag out for longer than necessary.
