Hired Law Firm

The lawyer could not hear a word we said most of the time. Was a waste of our time trying to do a basic estate planning. He asked the same questions 4 to 5 times and they were basic. It felt like we were taking part in a just for laughs prank. He is clearly not capable of practising law anymore and needs to retire. Office staff were equally unqualified. They rescheduled on us two times for signing and they didn’t even bother to call us from out of town travel, not even an apology. They may be cheapest around but not even worth what they want to charge. Pay the extra and go somewhere else that is professional and qualified. It’s scary to think that he is still in practice. I must also add he is a misogynist he actually asked me at the end of our meeting “who does the cooking in your house? “Because I was doing most of the talking as my husband was ready to blow his top at him. avoid this law office!

Hired Law Firm

Working with Mr Woods has been a complicated nightmare. From his lack of communication, to his non-existent approach, it has been a world wind to try and get our house sale finished. Mr. Woods has been unbearable to work with in closing out our file that should have been done over a year ago when the contract was broken. There were also multiple times where I had to tell him what to write in a letter to the other lawyer and then he charged us for it. If you were going to have to use Mr. Woods you need to be prepared that your staff may not be dealt with with any sense of urgency or appropriate time lines.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
