Sharon J. Binning

I would highly recommend retaining Sharon Binning to anyone, male or female, to assist them with their separation. She is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, thoughtful and fair. Sharon understands that when families are involved that it is in everyone's best interest to go through the process in a respectful manner at the same time as looking after the best interest of her client.

Sharon represented me in my separation and WOW, am I ever glad I had her on my side. She really worked in my best interest and her knowledge of family law benefited me greatly during negotiations. I see the most recent review speaking to Sharon Binning’s character and I fully agree. This is the most shameful law firm in Brantford and probably Ontario. Sharon Binning should not be a lawyer. She should not represent you in any capacity. She is unlawful and unethical in her application of the law. She tried to bully and threaten me, while stealing my child for 69 days. She des not know how to apply the rules of the law inside and outside of the courtroom. She challenged me to seek legal council to deal with her after performing an illegal act. She laughed at me along the way. She lied to me in her correspondence. And eventually, I won an urgent motion and a settlement against her. She didn’t know how to file an affidavit for her client (my lawyer caught her). She wasted her client’s time and money. And then lost. And then she got replaced. She is inept. Unprofessional. And you should not retain her for whatever legal dispute you find yourself in.

I did my research and felt I made an informed and educated decision by retaining Sharon Binning. She point-blank lied to me in my paid consultation and did a COMPLETE 180 once I retained her. The fact that I had to pay her at all sickens me. I expected better of a female lawyer. I was a female client that required compassion and advocacy at the most difficult time in my and my young children's' lives thus far, as a full-time working parent in the social services field for more than 17 years, re: my separation from my spouse. I was very, very wrong and she should not be allowed to get away with what she did to me. In my opinion, this lawyer lied to me during my consultation in order to mislead me to believe she would be able to assist me with my request for full parenting time, in order to retain me as a client. Her behaviour was not only misleading and dishonest but it was unethical. Please ensure you bring a witness to your consultation no matter what lawyer you choose to rep you.
