2 hours ago New I can’t say a bad thing about Kim and Kathryn. They are diligent, on top of all of my requests, and even one step ahead of me when I’m still working out how to solve particular problems. They are both so knowledgeable on the law and recommend the best approach to get things taken care of. Kathryn is always prompt on everything and Kim has an intuition and legal background that is astounding. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing anything from minor ticket violations to complicated estate planning. They can handle it all and hold your hand along the way when you need it.
Kim is very aggressive on children's rights. She has a general practice and will help someone in almost any area. She has a ten year background as County Prosecutor and knows most Judges in her rural area. She is very good and tenacious.
Great Lawyer with a Heart
Hired Kim to represent me in a divorce case. Paid a retainer and proceeded with the case. After a couple months, my spouse and I reconciled, and we proceeded to dismiss the divorce case. It took numerous emails from my spouse's attorney to Kim in order to get her to do her part in responding to the dismissal. After the case was finally dismissed I asked if any of my retainer fees would be refunded. I was told by Kim the file would need to be closed, and a final billing would be done within a week. A considerable amount of phone calls and emails were apparently ignored, as I have yet to hear anything from her after months of inaction. I am seriously considering filing a complaint with the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel in Jefferson City due to her lack of communication. One would be wise to look for legal representation elsewhere.
My best friend hired this crappy lawyer to help her get her kids back because her abusive ex took her kids illegally and This Lawyer had her pay a retainer and did not answer her calls or emails and did not push the case bag which ended up allowing the father to keep the kids somehow it doesn’t even make sense, but this lady does not do her job she steals your buddy she does not communicate she is a terrible Lawyer . I don’t know how she has her license. Please hire somebody in Kansas City that knows what they’re doing.
Was using Kim for a very simple probate, 1 bank account with not much in it. We are over 2.5 years waiting. Don't expect them to call you, email you or attempt to make contact with you. We called to schedule appointments and then the office was closed after driving 3 hours to meet them. I get letters from the clerk of court continually that she hasn't submitted paperwork. It has been a complete disaster, she is supposed to be withdrawing from our case since she can't get it finished we still have not received a withdrawal letter and nothing has been filed with the clerk of court so here we sit...still waiting on her to do her job.
Kim is the worst communicator on the face of the planet, never have I met someone so poor at communicating. She failed to communicate with the other party for over two months, which was unacceptable. She did a terrible job for me, and I cannot
