Mr. Wixted was by far the best attorney. At any time my boyfriend could call or stop in his office with any questions or concerns. We were treated as if it was the most important case in the office when it was the lower priority cases he deals with on a daily basis. Dennis was very straightforward and honest. If he didn't feel comfortable to guarantee he would be successful in getting something downgraded or dropped he let us know. We knew what we were up against from the beginning
He absolutely lies! Even on a small case and nothing to lose, he will lie. He appears to make deals with the prosecutors and then tell you that your conviction will be a misdemeanor, then it turns out to be a felony and then will lie about it even after having put it in writing. Doesn't make any sense but that's what he does. His bosses will also lie and protect him even in a minor instance. It's amazing. Children lie like this. This matter was a trivial affair yet he screwed it up then lied.
Their service was appalling. Their response times were bad and in office responses were cold and horrible. Only dealt with one lawyer Dennis Wixted whose eventual service was disgraceful.
Advised me to plead guilty, knowing fully I was innocent and assuring me repeatedly, that it would be a misdemeanor, however it was listed as a felony, which I only found out 9 months later. When I went to the senior partner Zucker, he told me it was bad legal advice and he could do nothing, despite the fees having been paid. They dropped me and I am now having huge problems finding a job.
