I contacted JoAnn Wolf’s law office for help with a parental alienation case, as advertised on their website. Unfortunately, my experience felt like a bait-and-switch. Thomas was polite, but he mentioned they only handle family law, which conflicted with their advertised expertise. My consultation with JoAnn Wolf was disappointing—she seemed unfamiliar with parental alienation and failed to provide solutions. Worse, her proposal suggested leaving my children in a harmful environment. She also requested a $10,000 retainer, which felt excessive given the lack of actionable solutions. It didn’t feel like she genuinely wanted to take me on as a client but rather gather information for unclear reasons. I left the consultation feeling unsupported and concerned. I recommend looking elsewhere.

Needed representation for a divorce. Her counsel was extremely counterproductive and damaging. It became clear she was attempting to increase the conflict to also increase her billable hours. She is extremely unethical.

We paid $5000 to this firm to handle a divorce. The next month, they said the $5000 retainer was gone and we needed to pay another $3000. THE CASE WASNT EVEN FILED! We paid another $3000, then they sent another bill the next month - THE CASE STILL WASNT EVEN FILED!!! Literally the worst, most scandalous, unprofessional law firm I’ve ever dealt with. Read the horrible reviews. They are all true.

There was no polite collection of case information but rather pretensions interrupting, attempts to put me into submission and twice I was hung up on when I asked who the supervisor was. When I called a different number (1/4 telephone numbers) I asked for the supervisor & got Michelle Kelsey, who very intense, stark & made her presence through FLEX by inciting "I'M THE SUPERVISOR, I OWN THIS BUISNESS, GIVE me your last name for the conflict check." Upon doing so she cleared me and told me to proceed. I then began to state the feelings of contempt her secretary instilled as my 1st impression. This wasn't an issue w/the secretary, Michelle Kelsey begin a 1 upping, boisterous overtones & had no interest on the feedback to her rude scheduler. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FIRM; CONDESENDING, RUDE & PETULANT CONDUCT. LPRB Complaint filed

This law firm is awful. I used this law firm for my child custody case. I spent over $16,000 dollars. My biggest two issues, was the lack of responsiveness from my attorney. If I didn’t have at least $3k on file he would rarely return my calls. He also didn’t submit my paperwork correctly for my previous child support I pay with my ex wife. Which negatively affected the final child support amounts. I had to file a new motion myself for a modification just 30 days after the judges final orders. When I contacted Michelle Kelsey she defended her attorney, and basically told me I was lying, and I didn’t call her company to speak to her attorney John Lilley, just after the judges orders were submitted last September. She also blamed me and said it was my fault I didn’t make my attorney aware of my current child support. Which I actually did mention it to him on multiple occasions. According to her, that was my fault, and not her attorneys. This company only cares about making money. Avoid!

Choosing a divorce lawyer and a good one is so important. I did not have a good experience with Kelsey Law. I can only speak to my experience but if you are trying to choose between a couple of lawyers this may help. I would not recommend this firm.

The representation I received was poor and extremely expensive. It set me back tremendously. When I questioned the representation I was met with arrogance and insulting emails.
