Ms. Davis was amazing. She went above & beyond. She handled my divorce professionally & with class. My ex's attorney tried to drag a simple case out & extend dates because my ex didn't want to cooperate with paperwork. We were only married for a year. We were not asking anything from each other. It should have been a cut & dry case. The opposing attorney completed paperwork the night before the court date. Ms. Davis had to scramble to get everything together the morning of. She was able to have the divorce finalized & complete in my favor, even though the opposing party was dragging their feet. If she wouldn't have pushed to get things done when she did, I'd have to pay more & wait longer. Attorney Davis is also a down to earth human & will have a pleasant conversation with you. She's truly amazing at her job & it's obvious she has heart in it. I highly recommend her! She saved me money & time!
Very good lawyer. Divorce was done quickly without a lot of problems. I got the custody I wanted and we didn't have to go to trial. Maria didn't prolong the case. She was able to get a settlement for me in a few months.
She was used as a GAL in my divorce. She did not come up with a plan that was beneficial to my child - actually one that would have been detrimental to their growth. Maria appeared to be influenced by the other side - in fact her change coincided directly with a phone call she had with the other side. Her decision making was potentially harmful to a child. I would recommend asking the judge for another GAL if she is appointed and I would recommend that she do more research on parent alienation i
