Robert Maranto began his legal journey after graduating from Duquesne University by joining Saperston & Day, P.C. as an associate attorney. There, he gained experience working with major insurance carriers in the firm's Insurance Defense and Coverage Departments. In 1995, Robert partnered with Attorney Alan Bernstein to establish the personal injury law firm of Bernstein & Maranto. Just two years later, their firm merged with Andrews, Sanchez, Amigone, Mattrey & Marshall, resulting in Robert becoming the youngest partner. By 1999, at the age of 32, Robert was named a partner at Andrews, Bernstein & Maranto, LLP, alongside Benjamin J. Andrews and Alan L. Bernstein, co-founder of Cellino and Barnes. Robert has focused his practice on personal injury law, consistently securing multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements. A product of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, Robert earned his Juris Doctor at Duquesne, where he excelled academically and contributed as the Associate Editor of the Duquesne University Law Review. His peers have consistently recognized him in the Super Lawyers publication for his outstanding legal contributions.

Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.“Robert Maranto, at Andrews, Bernstein, Maranto & Nicotra, helped me with a difficult car accident that caused a disruption with my ability to carry out job-related travel. Working with Bob was a pleasure and stress-free; he was compassionate and concerned about my needs and always kept me completely informed, answered all my questions and concerns, and was quick to respond to my emails and calls. He willingly took time to clearly and professionally lay out and explain the specific options available to me, and after consultation with me provided a structured plan for how to proceed. Bob was able to settle my case - I was very pleased with how things turned out. I highly recommend him to anyone needing legal assistance. Thanks very much Bob for your excellent representation!” -Carmine T.
Mr. Maranto is fantastic. Between him and his paralegal, Hannah, I have all my questions answered in a timely manner. I was involved in a car accident, where someone "break-checked" me, and Mr. Maranto did not hesitate to take my case. He came to my house for a consultation. As I have been in this situation for about 3 years, I am confident that Mr. Maranto is handling everything accordingly. He views his clients as personal acquaintances, not just a paycheck.
My child was assaulted and Mr. Maranto treated her as if she was his own daughter. His staff is wonderful to deal with!
I have known Robert Maranto Jr. for over 15 years and he is a very good Lawyer and he talks to you like a friend a very nice person I would recommend him!
