Gordon D. Tresch is a graduate of Gordon College, Wenham, MA and the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. He also studied political science at the graduate level at Drew University, Madison, New Jersey. Mr. Tresch is admitted to practice in New York State and Federal Courts and has been in practice for over 30 years. Having served four years as Acting Village Justice of Kenmore, New York, Mr. Tresch was also Village Attorney for Kenmore, New York for ten years. From 1998 - 2007 he was Deputy Town Attorney for the Town of Tonawanda, New York. He currently is Associate Counsel for New York State Senator Mary Lou Rath of Amherst, New York. He has concentrated his practice in the areas of insurance defense litigation, insurance coverage and claims counseling, medical malpractice and municipal law. He has also litigated products liability and toxic tort/environmental claims. Mr. Tresch has lectured to the Bar in areas of Medical Malpractice, Labor Law Liability and Municipal Law. He is a member of the New York State and Erie County Bar Associations, as well as Trial Lawyers of Western New York and the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association. In 2007 he was the recipient of the Fortress Insurance Attorney of the Year Award. He also serves as a member of his church's Commission on Constitutional Matters.
