Brittany B. Durieux graduated from Taylor University in 2012 with a degree in English Literature and later earned her law degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 2015. During her time in law school, she received the Best Advocate Award at the Ohio Attorney General Trial Competition. Brittany began her legal career at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, where she focused on prosecuting felony and misdemeanor domestic violence cases, in addition to handling other misdemeanor offenses. She later served in various roles at the Summit County Domestic Relations Court, including Bailiff, Judicial Attorney, Mediator/Community Outreach Director, and ultimately Magistrate. Her legal background includes managing a wide range of cases and developing a passion for courtroom advocacy.
Brittany is also active in her community, serving on the board of Urban Vision in North Hill, where she has been a longtime volunteer. She has also participated in mission projects globally, with a focus on the Dominican Republic.
