Alena Shautsova is the founder of Law office of Alena Shautsova practice. She handles Immigration law and Employment discrimination law cases. Ms. Shautsova started her career in the U.S. by interning for the United Nations NGO Global Action on Aging. Thereafter she joined a boutique litigation firm in Manhattan, and subsequently was heading the Civil Litigation Department at the Law office of Anthony J.. Colleluori & Associates on Long Island, New York.
In 2012, Ms. Shautsova opened her Employment Discrimination practice in Brooklyn, New York. She is a current delegate form the Young Lawyer Section of the NYSBA to the American Bar Association House of Delegates; she is a member of a Committee on Immigration Representation and one of the drafters of the Standards of Immigration Representation applicable to New York attorneys. She is a former district representative of the Young Lawyers Division of the ABA, who, after hurricane Sandy, helped to put together along with the ABA, NYSBA and FEMA, a disaster legal services program for New York.
Ms. Shautsova is licensed to represent clients in the State of New York, Federal Courts of the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York; the United States Supreme Court.
