I loved working with Clarice. She was very compassionate and caring. I would definitely recommend her.
Clarice Ruehl was the court appointed GAL for my kids. She was biased and sided 100% with my Ex. It is always a RED FLAG when a neutral party aligns 100% with one side because it is never 100% one sided in a divorce. She was unprofessional, disorganized, and ignored my continued request to meet and discuss unsubstantiated claims against me. Later I found out that she was charging me for the time it took to read (and ultimately ignore) my email requests. She then showed up at court and gave a speech that belittled me, called me names, and exploited my involvement in therapy thus promoting the stigma surrounding mental health. She recommended many things that contradicted the opinions and recommendations of my children’s doctors. I will be reporting her to the Wisconsin office of Lawyer Regulations and suggest anyone else who has concerns to do the same. Our children deserve better!!!
This woman was a court appointed GAL. She was very dishonest in court and outside of court. She made the whole court case worse even knowing the facts. She is not respected by her people, the only People who respect her are the ones who agree with her poor decision making. She does horrible at representing the child/children as a GAL. She should not hold this power or position.
I feel Clarice did a horrible job as our court appointed GAL. Clarice ignores facts yet believes lies. She is not well respected by lawyers or her colleagues. Clarice knew that my children were in a harmful situation yet made a recommendation to keep the court order the same, despite an overwhelming amount of police reports and CPS reports. I found her to be dishonest and unintelligent. If you love your children, help them and request someone else for your GAL.
