It was 1996 and my friend and I Drove cross country California to NY. However, after visitIng Mount Rushmore trouble arose. The trouble was Trooper Larry England. He saw 2 young(21 yrs) out of towners And pulled us over. we ended up in McCook county jail facing drug charges. We were scared .We were facing 5 years for what amounted to 20$ worth of drugs. It was a nightmare, until Mike Fink(fresh out of law school) was appointed to me. He was motivated, helpful and compassionate. He had the evidence Suppressed because we were arrested and never read our Miranda rights. This was the most stressful time in my life. I am now 44 years old and mark the “South Dakota” trip as a turning point in my life. Mike Fink was my guardian angel. After spending the week in jail we were able to collect our vehicle and leave. Since then I graduated college work as a High school teacher and have a family with 4 kids. Without Mike Fink my life could have turned out so different. Thank you so much Mike.
Mike was a court appointed attorney for a family member facing drug charges. He was able to get the charges dismissed. His rates are reasonable. I highly recommend him.
