Hired Attorney

I used Don Jordan on the recommendation of my realtor to close on a private residence. I received the rate for a seemingly simple closing on a new residence 2 days prior to closing. His fee was between 50% and 300% higher than any of my real estate contacts in the Asheville, Raleigh and Piedmont areas had seen. I was shocked. Prior to the close, I pointed out math and spelling errors but I had experienced those in other closes also. Annoying but perhaps part of the deal, who knows. I highly recommend shopping and comparing rates before signing up with Mr Jordan.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
