I was unfortunately on the defendant side of malpractice suit. My client, with autism, got spooked and ran into an elderly woman at the library. I found myself in a lawsuit for thousands without an attorney with enough experience to find the loopholes in my insurance companies unwillingness to cover this. Before I met Chris, they were able to reject the claim under a technicality in my policy that other attorneys were unable to understand how to get around. This was a huge cause of anxiety and stress, as I thought I was on the hook for an incredible amount of money. Chris was a godsend, quickly identifying where my insurance went wrong and also actually knew the prosecuting attorney, allowing him to readily contact him and bring this down to a calm negotiable level. I cannot recommend Chris Wanat enough for malpractice issues, this is absolutely his thing, as the rest of the firm at Milano and Wanat Law in Branford, CT. I even got a refund check for unused hours! Thank you!
