Mr. Tom Gill was extremely helpful in his free phone consultation. He had the office call back the very next morning after I left a message with an answering service, and he called back himself that very afternoon. He was very attentive and listened well to my detailed situation and concerns. Very thorough explanations and clarified when I had questions. He gave me a referral when we determined his services were not going to be relevant for the matter at hand. I returned to Thomas for a Child Support modification on the SAME divorce case he worked on 9 years ago and was charged double the amount upfront! Just for a modification! Guess this is due to the fancy new renovations in the office. Secondly my Ex's lawyer who is a super junior lawyer btw was literally "WALKING THE DOG" on me while Thomas did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on my case except go on vacation for a month and leave it with Jana (Barnett) who had no clue what was going on! He didn't even tell me he left the case with her. It wasn't until I called to find out what was going on that I found out he dropped the ball! So $5k later and all that was done was about 3 electronic motions filed. MY paperwork WAS RIDDLED with ERRORS, they kept filing me to the court with the wrong name, wrong address and not only were there multiple mistakes in my file! (See Google review for full story)

Tom Gill took $500.00 from me and did absolutely no legal work in return. I was considering filing for divorce and then later decided not to utilize his services. He refused to reimburse my deposit. I have been a paralegal for seven years so I am fully aware of how a lawyer should practice. He does not follow the Florida Bar Rules and should be cited for taking money from people when no legal work was performed. Please accept this advice and select an attorney who is honest and ethical.
