After other consult meetings on our estate plan left us confused and disappointed, as my husband and I left Peter's office we looked at each other and said, "we're hiring Peter". We met with Peter numerous times, asking many questions and even to review matters previously discussed. Very reasonably priced for his services and expertise, (and a flat fee), Peter expertly guided us through the process. Peter's knowledge is unsurpassed, we highly recommend him.

I interviewed two other estate planning attorneys and decided to go with Peter and I’m glad I did.
Where do I start? He was always reachable and responded in record time. He carefully listened to my background info and needs and provided recommendations based on what he thought would make the most sense in my situation not how much he’d get for it. He kept providing important guidance and recommendations throughout the process. I would absolutely use Mr. Herbst's service again.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
