Took my money, lost my case , told me i would get alimony yet I ended up with not even car insurance after 22 years of marriage. I am waiting still for weeks on a small lump sum from a payment from mediation that was really a joke. Use a local lawyer do your research on representation.

I started out with Amy Harris. She gave me a flat fee. She was really communicative until she got my money and then she never reached out to me accept to try to get me to accept everything my ex’s lawyer wanted without even asking me my side of the story. I thought if I wanted to give him everything he wants, why did I need to pay you $5000 to do it? So I switched to Brian Winter’s. At least he listened to my side, but he was lazy and incompetent. He failed to hand in crucial paperwork to the court causing me to lose out on large amounts of money. He’s done nothing to prepare for my mediation which is 2 weeks away and when I called him out on not doing his job he quit on me and refused to give me back any of my deposit. KWW never sent me a bill except at the end saying I met my deductible. I got a new lawyer, she’s a million times better! She said KWW Lawfirm is shady and they’re just bad lawyers. Don’t waste your money or time.

Brian accepted my case with a flat fee. I feel he resented it, even though he offered it) and really did not put on a vigorous case for me. He lost my case during arbitration where he really did not speak or seem to pay attention. I would not hire Brian again.
