Hired Attorney

My husband was injured in an auto accident over two years ago. Auto Owners is our insurance carrier, whereby we have coverage for uninsured and underinsured motorist. Auto owners was our insurance carrier for nearly 10 years. Instead of paying for the treatment of the injuries my husband sustained, Auto Owners hired Scott Hamilton to defend and deny my husbands claim. For the past year, Mr. Hamilton has hired a team of doctors, and witnesses to dispute and discredit every single one of my husbands doctors, my husbands friends, our business associates, and even hired spies with surveillance cameras to catch my husband working or doing something they can twist to a jury, in an effort to deny my husband the benefits under our auto insurance policy that we have paid for, for many years. My husband is an honorable man, with a long history of heart surgery and complications from that surgery that left him with a hole in his chest due to the removal of his sternum. Yet, he has never stopped working, he continues to work, and has never ever filed for disability. He only seeks compensation for the injuries he sustained as a victim of an auto accident, for which he thought he had adequate protection under his own insurance carrier. Not only is my husband and upstanding person, he has raised three son's, including our adopted son, whom he rescued from and orphanage over seas. At 65 years of age, it is outrageous that attorney Scott Hamilton, acting on behalf of his client, Auto Owners insurance, has issued an all out attack to discredit my husband, alienate him from his doctors, spy on him, and ruin his good name, to diminish him, in an effort to get out of paying an insurance claim for which we have a legally bound policy that was paid for in full. I can only imagine that Scott Hamilton has been paid many thousands of dollars including his paid witnesses to discredit my husband, yet he hold himself out as a self-righteous Christian, quoting Biblical passages and missionary work on his business web site, to apparently solicit himself as having an honorable business practice. It is my personal view, that he holds none of those qualities evident in a follower of the Christian faith, because a good man would never smear the name of another man, or try to discredit him, in the pursuit of defending and Insurance company who seeks to deny it's clients coverage. There are no stars available to me on this web site to effectively rate the low points of Auto Owners Insurance or their attorney Scott Hamilton. Let me say this....to All Insurance carries who are looking for a lawyer who will represent them against their insured, Scott Hamilton is your guy. He will do a good job at trying to intimidate your client, to seek personal documents from people they don't even know, to dig up old claims 10-20 years ago, and hire people to discredit your client. This is your man, if you are the insurance carrier like Auto Owners, who would rather pay attorneys, than pay the claims of their insured, who have sustained severe injuries like the traumatic brain injury and a torn shoulder requiring surgery, like my husband has.
