assisting in teaching a year-long legal research and writing course and commenting extensively on students' papers. Mr. Winslow was also a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution division of Georgetown's Barristers' Council.
Prior to joining Choate, Mr. Winslow worked as a special assistant general counsel for the Library of Congress, where he handled a variety of legal matters including software licensing and copyright law, employment litigation and policies and government contracts.

· Assisted in $30 million strategic acquisition of IT staffing and consultancy company.
· Assisted in representation of venture capital fund in new $15 million investment in Canadian pharmaceutical research company.
· Advised client on public release of source code for internally-developed software products, and drafted standard operating procedures and policy guidance for open source software license compliance.
· Drafted research memorandum analyzing applicability of copyright law and fair use doctrine to website archiving.
