About Patrick Marinaro

Patrick Marinaro advises clients on general litigation matters. Prior to joining NBP, Patrick served on the staff of Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick as Special Assistant to the Governor’s Chief Legal Counsel.

Since joining NBP, Patrick has been an integral member of the team prosecuting claims on behalf of 60 victims of the third largest Ponzi scheme in U.S. history. Patrick has also been involved in the defense of a MA based company under federal grand jury investigation for possible violations of criminal law.

Patrick is a 2011 graduate of Boston University School of Law and a member of the Massachusetts Bar. While at BUSL, Patrick was awarded Best Brief in the Edward C. Stone Moot Court Competition, and selected to represent BUSL at the 2011 Sutherland Cup Competition, a competition which he and his teammates won and were awarded Best Brief. He also worked as a research assistant for visiting professor Elizabeth Nowicki, and as a clinician in the American Legislative Practice Clinic.

During his law school summers, Patrick completed internships with Magistrate Judge Leo T. Sorokin in the United States District Court and the United States Attorney’s Office, Civil Division. Patrick received his bachelor’s degree from Trinity College
