Brooks & DeRensis, PC. is a law firm established in 1986 with an office in Boston, MA. At this office location, there are 18 lawyers practicing civil litigation, criminal litigation, labor relations and 23 other areas of law.
Mr. Brooks has a very limited federal criminal practice. He was unaware of programs that could have substantially reduced my sentence. As a result, I needed to engage additional counsel to fill gaps in his representation where my sentenced was reduced by 40%. My overall impression was that since I had conceded that I was facing incarceration, Mr. Brooks didn't fight for anything. I had to instruct him at sentencing on what to request from the court. Ill prepared, ill equipped, over paid.
Valerie swett is incredibly disingenuous and not trustworthy. She and several of her colleagues have Ben involved in an intricate labyrinth of deception and deceptive business practices. She is rude and has defrauded me in family trusts. Setting up accounting departments at law firms. Hopscotching to three law firms while having access to accounts that were being moved around. She is intelligent. She is not personable. She is controlling and manipulative. She has commingled assets of mine. Signs off on bogus accountings without ever providing proof of funds or bank statements. She personally has profited immensely from the deception and fraud of family trusts. Refusing to give me a stimulus check that was mine and writing a seperate check signing her personal name on it she has been transferring assets and now is ignoring and hanging up on me. She is mean and nasty and calculating. Divorce files have disappeared from the probate court
i applied my work visa with her, but at the end I prepared everything by myself. she gave excuse that she never applied that kind of visa. she said professional at green card application. okay we try to give a shot. SHE HAS NO Clue about how to apply green card, she asked us to get medical report from the beginning. at the end she spent all of our time and get our money give nothing. please stay away from her.
She is super unprofetional. I am super happy that such an unstable person is not going to represent us.
