Alan D. Rose, Jr. co-founded the firm in 1995. Alan's practice focuses on civil and criminal trial and appellate litigation in federal and state courts and in arbitration, with an emphasis in commercial litigation, employment litigation, defense of state and federal government and regulatory investigations, and college and university law. Alan has represented a wide variety of corporate clients and individuals in close-corporation, business, fraud, securities, employment and real estate litigation in state and federal courts and in arbitration. Alan has extensive experience seeking and defending against requests for preliminary injunctive relief. A substantial portion of Alan's practice is devoted to representing witnesses, subjects and targets of governmental investigations and prosecutions. Alan has extensive experience counseling clients with matters before governmental agencies and regulatory bodies, including the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney's Office, the S.E.C., Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, the Securities Division of the Massachusetts Secretary of State, FINRA, and the State Ethics Commission. Alan has also successfully represented many high profile public officials in matters before the State Ethics Commission.
