About Mallory Fernandes

Mrs. Fernandes grew up in South Carolina and earned her Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from the University of South Carolina. She went on to earn a master's degree in Neuroscience from Case Western Reserve University, where she researched and studied various diseases of the brain. Mrs. Fernandes earned her Juris Doctor degree from Ave Maria School of Law, graduating cum laude.

While in law school, Mrs. Fernandes served as the President of the Ave Maria Moot Court Board and a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research Department. During her first year of law school, she was a Finalist in the St. Thomas More 1L Oral Advocacy Competition, where she also was awarded Best Brief. She competed and was named Champion of the 2023 Robert H. Bork Memorial Appellate Competition where she was also named Best Oralist.

In her free time, she enjoys baking, knitting, traveling the world, and spending time with her husband, Pete Fernandes, and their two cats, Ollie and Cleo.
