About Benjamin H. Yormak, Esq.

In response to what he recognized as a growing need to protect the rights of employees and people with disabilities in Southwest Florida, Mr. Yormak founded Yormak Employment & Disability Law. Mr. Yormak has always been committed to fighting for your rights and disability benefits. He only represents employees; he never represents employers, the insurance company or government.

From 2016-2019, Mr. Yormak has been recognized by SuperLawyers Magazine as a Rising Star, an honor bestowed upon only the top 2% of Florida attorneys as voted by their peers. He has also been selected by his Southwest Florida peers as a Naples Illustrated Top Lawyer (2018, 2019), has won the Avvo Client Choice Award (2012-2018), has been recognized as a national Lawyer of Distinction (2018) and was selected by National Advocates Top 40 Under 40 (2018) for his accomplishments in labor and employment law.

Mr. Yormak previously worked with the United States Department of Justice and the Maine Volunteer Lawyer Project, and while in law school received the Pro Bono Service Award. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maine School of Law and his A.B. from Bowdoin College, graduating with honors, while also playing both NCAA ice hockey and baseball.

Outside of the office, Mr. Yormak enjoys spending his time with his wife Jessica, their two children and their golden retriever, Fenway. He also actively involved in the community and youth sports.

Hired Attorney

Ben Yormack of Yormack Employment and Disability Law is an extraordinary Attorney! Five star all the way! Ben jumped in at just the right time to help me in a very complex and aggressive employment case. Ben was able to successfully represent me in my complex case with laser focused skill and determination. Ben was always responsive to my needs and very patient with my distraught emotional state. Ben provides extraordinary litigation with superb knowledge and skill. Ben will fight hard for your rights. I highly recommend Benjamin Yormack!

Hired Attorney

I was contacted by Ben Yormak’s secretary Dawn, after they saw an interview I did with my prior attorney, Kevin Sanderson, that was shown on Wink News, in regards to my situation/case . I was convinced by Ben to leave my then attorney and sign on with Ben, believing he would fight my case to the fullest. What I received was a great disappointment and regret for leaving my previous attorney Mr. Sanderson for Ben Yormak.
