My recent interaction with Ms. Cole was very unprofessional and concerning. I made a general social media post asking for attorney recommendations without naming or tagging anyone. Ms. Cole reacted publicly with a laughing emoji, which felt inappropriate given that she previously represented my husband in a family matter. When I messaged her for clarification, she denied that representation despite being the attorney of record. A later phone call became confrontational, and her tone felt harsh and dismissive. Based on my personal experience, I would not feel comfortable working with her again.
This attorney said when I called that she would do a probate case for 250.00 an hour. Then when she sent the agreement it said she would be able to charge the min fee per the Mo. statute. She said it was just incase something unplanned happened, well if something unplanned happened, you still get the rate you agreed to work at. She withdrew because she didn't want to keep her word. In addition, she does not seem to know that much about probate procedures and statutes, she told me I had to get my closing the estate published and I can do a waiver. So, I do not recommend her at all. Not honest, not very knowledgable.
