Alonzo Houff Zahour

I had found myself in a tough position and I hired attorney Zahour. He was at every court appearance and his fees didn't break the bank. I appreciate all he did and his advice. If you are looking for a caring attorney who knows what he is doing, hire him. I also referred a friend to him for a traffic case and he took care of it for him. He thought he would loose his license and did not. Thank again Mr. Zahour.

Reasonable, logical, knowledgeable. Very comforting in the wake of a potential troublesome divorce. Alonza made it very easy.

He always makes time for you , no matter how busy he is. He will talk to you over the phone, where I had issues with lawyers telling me I have to come into there office.

I found him very engaging and professional.And made everything simple.

Never did anything to get me off, just had me do a blind plea after telling me for months that he would talk with the prosecutor and get me some leniency. They never went for anything he said.

I had a very bad experience with this Attorney. I would not recommend him to anyone I know. He was very inattentive and unresponsive. It was a total exercise in frustration.

Until this day I don't know what is going on with this case. I am not getting child support regularly or the amount as planned.

Alonzo was referred to me by a family member that regretted it after months with no resolution. My case been going on for almost 2 years. He did none of what he said he would. I acquired a huge legal bill with no end to this madness. When I was fortunate to get him on the phone he always sounded irritated at the sound of my voice. He was late for every court date and never filed a motion against the opposing party for missing more than 7 court dates. He wanted me to do the investigative work. I am thoroughly frustrated with his lack of communication and lack of professionalism. I would not suggest anyone use him. You should just take your money and burn it because you will get the same.results.

Just awful, on top of not keeping you updated on your case and sounding generally annoyed every time you call to get an update he will do nothing for you. Sure he'll give you plenty of honey laced words about how good of a case you have, but the minute you are in front of a judge he will throw you to the wolves and leave you wondering why you even hired an attorney. Did absolutely nothing to argue my case.

I had Mr Zahour as a lawyer for about 4months he showed up to every court date as planned until the last court date I had which I also had a warrant for missing court 1 time I went to court they took me into custody and said if my lawyer showed up they would release me unluckily for me he never showed up I spent 2 and a 1/2 days in dupage county jail until I finally got in touch with him he tell me he has anothe case in ottawa so he cant come to my court date and to ask for a public defender! BS
