John Alegria, and his partner Leon Rothstein, got my appeal dismissed due to their neglect and failure to do their jobs. John never really seemed to know what was going on with my case. His partner, Leon, withheld evidence from me despite multiple requests which led me to be embarrassed in from of a judge during a motion to dismiss hearing. Ultimately, I paid over 50k more during a settlement than I legally should have based up Idaho Supreme Court Cases, and basic laws, due to their legal neglect. I am currently looking into taking legal action against both of them.
Was dishonest when answering questions about his ability, stated he had not lost a case in 9 years when in fact he was disbarred and had only just gotten his practice back. He made up things along the way, in court! Even stated it "was legal to sell marijuana" referring to another state in court, when the DA corrected him, he made jokes. Two occasions we had to drive 11 hours for postponements, he waited till last minute to request he appear for us for certain hearings because of travel distance
