He then graduated from Boise State University with degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science. While at Boise State, Jake walked-on to the football team where he eventually earned a full-ride scholarship. Jake’s accolades while playing for Boise State include: Competed in 45 games from 2012-2015; 2014 Fiesta Bowl Champion; 2015 Team Captain; 4x Academic All Mountain West Conference honoree; 3x Mountain West Scholar Athlete; 2016 NFF Hampshire Honor Society Member; CoSIDA Academic All-District Football Team; and a William V. Campbell Trophy semifinalist (2015) given by the National Football Foundation for outstanding football ability, academic excellence, strong leadership, and citizenship throughout the community. Jake graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2021 with honors and finished in the top 6% of his class.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
