Cheryl Allaire is a co-managing partner of Mathieu, Ranum & Allaire, PLLC. She has more than 20 years of experience providing legal and strategic counsel to businesses ranging in size from small start-ups to established publicly held corporations. Her practice focuses on a wide variety of corporate and business matters including entity selection and formation, corporate governance, equity and debt financings, SEC securities compliance and public company reporting requirements, venture capital and private equity, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures, commercial transactions, contract negotiations, employment and consulting agreements and equity compensation plans. She assists businesses throughout their entire life cycle, from startup to exit, and in many different industries including technology, energy, food and beverage, venture capital, real estate, retail and consumer products, manufacturing, life sciences and investment management.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Allaire was Counsel in the Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group in the Boise office of Perkins Coie LLP, where she also served as the local Chair of the firm’s Diversity and Paralegal Committees. Previously, she was an Associate in the Corporate group at K&L Gates, LLP in San Diego. She also served as in-house Corporate Counsel for seven years at Franklin Templeton Investments. Before practicing law, Cheryl was an auditor in the specialized finance division of a large financial institution.
