Attorney Stephen C. Breuer is a member of Breuer Law, PLLC, in Boca Raton, Florida. Mr. Breuer focuses his practice on representing debtors, creditors and trustees in Chapters 7, 11 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code and all Bankruptcy Litigation. In that practice Mr. Breuer often litigates in adversary proceedings and other contested matters in Bankruptcy Court, in addition to complex business and fraud disputes in State and Federal Court. He also has experience in consumer protection and continues to dedicate part of his practice to advocating for the rights of consumers throughout the state of Florida.
Mr. Breuer graduated cum laude from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He received his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 2012. He is also admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida as well as the bankruptcy courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
While attending law school, Mr. Breuer gained valuable legal experience through the summer fellowship program of The Florida Bar. This role involved advocating for the rights of Florida youth through work with Florida’s Children First. Before becoming a partner at Moffa & Breuer in 2015, which firm was renamed Breuer Law in 2021, he further expanded his legal experience by working as a tax research assistant and law clerk for private Florida-based firms.
Mr. Breuer is passionate about staying active in his legal and professional communities. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, previously served as president and treasurer of Pi Lambda Phi and continues to provide certain pro bono and “low bono” legal services to those in need.
