Ryan P. McDermott is an Associate with Pannone Lopes Devereaux & O’Gara LLC and a member of the firm’s Estate and Trust Planning, Administration and Litigation Team.
Attorney McDermott is a skilled legal researcher with acute writing skills. He also has extensive litigation and real estate law experience. As an integral member of the firm’s Florida office, he guides and represents clients in all stages of the probate litigation process, including pre-trial investigation and discovery, motions and pleadings, trials, settlements and appeals. He also assists the Trust and Estate Planning team in developing and implementing sophisticated estate planning, asset protection, wealth preservation, and tax minimization strategies.
Prior to joining Pannone Lopes Devereaux & O’Gara, Attorney McDermott was an Associate Litigation Attorney at two law firms in Tampa, FL. He earned his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he distinguished himself through a series of prestigious internships, including a judicial externship with the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and the Circuit Court of Lane County. During his time at law school, he was also a Consultant for the University of Oregon Legal Clinic, assisting nonprofit organizations with legal challenges.
