Since joining Walton, Lantaff, Schroeder & Carson in 2010, Ms. Bachoon has embodied the spirit of a true advocate. Bringing valuable legal experience from internships with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office and Florida Supreme Court, and a formative stretch practicing labor and employment law, Ms. Bachoon’s approach to legal practice is as well-rounded as it is seasoned. Her legal path began by seeking out legal courses in high school, studying Political Science at the State University of New York at Buffalo and earning her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University’s College of Law, where she was involved in the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review. This avenue amplified her voice, allowing her to explore her vested interests in environmental protection, human dignity and animal welfare. In Florida, she is certified to provide continuing education credits to Florida Insurance personnel. Her current primary area of practice spans workers’ compensation and first-party property law, with extensions into liability, civil rights, and labor and employment litigation.
Whether representing a client or fostering an English bulldog, Ms. Bachoon approaches every endeavor with the same ferocity and devotion. She channels her energy and expertise into meaningful, advocative outcomes, committed to a belief system that treats all living creatures with respect, honor and care. At work, she employs her intellect and versatility to secure satisfactory results for clients seeking her aid. At home, she is actively involved in Buddies Thru Bullies, an organization that connects loving humans with English bulldogs in need through fostering and rehabilitative services. She has two bulldogs of her own - Lola and Pixy - whom she shares her life with and raises with her husband, Matthew.
As your attorney, Ms. Bachoon promises a meticulous eye for detail, a highly responsive work ethic and an adaptable, client-centered approach to representation. Fueled by a deep sense of compassion and justice, Ms. Bachoon builds meaningful outcomes and relationships; she is a true legal ally. To work with her is to collaborate with an attorney who sees the law as more than just a profession: to her, its a tool for lasting impact.
