Terrible. Knew this guy from when I was a kid and through my family. I didn’t get divorced. Thinks he’s a hot shot legal genius or acts like it but did a horrible job as a lawyer and a person. Yelled at me on the phone. I had a civil matter supposed to be heard in 15 days that didn’t get heard for like 4 months due to neglect of the case. And they blamed it on me. All while saying it’s very complicated legal maneuvering when it was just bs. And still in all that time they didn’t do any work so I fired him and found another attorney on my own. It was resolved almost immediately after. Garbage.

I literally dumped so much money on his desk and he kept asking for more and did nothing for my case! I went to another attorney and had things handled quickly and got the end result I was looking for. Every penny I gave to Lewis Schaffer was money down the drain. He did not care at all about my case, he only showed interest when it came to the payments. Save yourself and look for another attorney that will stand by your side and fight for you.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Dont make the same mistake i made! Worst decision of my entire life using Lewis Shafer as a Lawyer. He said it wouldn't cost much and ended up spending close to 150,000 after all was said and done and still LOST the case. Please please please if anything can come out good from loosing my retirement fund it would be to keep anyone else from making the same mistake i made. Lewis Shafer you ruined my life.
