Julie Karron focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation and employment litigation. She also has experience handling construction defect litigation, contract claims, asset protection and insurance litigation.
Professional Background
Ms. Karron joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in February 2011. Previously, from 2008-2011, she was a managing associate at a Ft. Lauderdale firm where she focused on complex commercial litigation.
Ms. Karron began her legal career in 2005 at George, Hartz, Lundeen, Fulmer, Johnston, King & Stevens, where she also clerked during law school. From 2006-2007 she was the Managing Partner of Topkin & Schwartz, P.L.
In 2009, Ms. Karron served as an adjunct instructor at American Intercontinental University, where she taught undergraduate business law.
During law school, Ms. Karron participated in a judicial internship with the Honorable Mel Grossman. She was a semi-finalist in the Moot Court Honor Society Competition and served as Moot Court's Advertising and Publicity Editor for 2003-2004. In addition, she was on the Moot Court Traveling Team. Ms. Karron participated in the Pro Bono Honor Program, which she completed in 2003, and the Personal Injury Law Clinic in the fall of 2004.
