This lawyer is a rip off artist!!! Scam! He will have you pay for services upfront including lawsuit costs then not file the lawsuit and keep the money!!!! Beware!!! Will have you sign the contract first then not sign it afterwards so he is the only one who can enforce it in court. Then left me with all the damages from fighting my unlawful eviction refused to file a lawsuit because of time and effort, which he would have known before we made the contract and I paid the filing fees for the lawsuit upfront at his request. Then the price in the contract was one lump sum instead of itemized so he could claim the whole sum as lawyer fees after he already knew he was not going to file the lawsuit to get my money back. HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED!
Unorganized, unprepared, late, and a case loser. I handed all of the information necessary to present a good case to him and he repeatedly set his own course and lost. Numerous filings were late or information presented to the Court after the fact when further information could not be submitted. Told me the opposition bore the responsibility to prove when actually the responsibility was ours! This guy has cost me thousands without any meaningful results. He doesn't return phone calls or bill on a regular basis. He seems to be distracted with other business and doesn't apply ample time to represent your case properly. The only thing done well is itemizing every detail to include on your bill whenever you do receive one!
I feel that he did an extremely poor job as an attorney in my divorce case. I really don't think that he is competent as an attorney. He seems to be more involved with his school board meetings than he is with his clients. He has a habit of canceling appointments just before the appointment is to take place. His assistant, Stacey, is unorganized and can't seem to remember what the attorney's schedule is and she tends to make appointments and then calls to break them on the same day.
